new or used?

I joined a band which is about to start play weddings and i was thinking of buying new drums for that because we're not from the same town and its pretty annoying to transfer them every weekend.. My budget is something about 1200$.

First what i came up with was Sonor Force 2007, also i was thinking of some Gretsch or Yamaha.. Music is mostly rock, pop, funk and folk..

One guy is offering me this drum (http://www.pearldrummersforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=281026&stc=1&d=1179485995) for 1000$. I was playing that Premier XPK and its pretty good, especially for that money. Should i take the offer or consider buying new kit?

Looks like a nice kit, is that a good price in your area ? That would be kind of a high price in my area.

Yeah, i'd it is, maybe to try getting it more cheaper.. but its pretty expensive here when it comes to musical instruments..USA market is 30-40% cheaper for sure...

I was also thinking about ordering kit from thomann or lidrum..
