I was recommended this book by a friend. I checked it out and it seems to have some pretty decent exercises, things like accenting and endurance that should help gain more control etc
Just wondering if anyone has used this book and if they could give an opinion or some advice.
Thanks

Great book and very simple to understand, I usually studied it
using different feet "stickings" apart from those who are in the book and changing the cymbals ostinatos on the "beats",also using the feets unison with chinas or splashes to add some flavor,I really love that book!
I recommend it!

i also recommend it this is the book i used to learn double kick the exercises in the beginning of the book are like gold to me best exercises until u can use the rlrlrlrlrrllrrllrlrrlrllrlrr exercise on your feet as well as the ridiculous amount of vocabulary to drum fills and poly rhythms and double kick for blues app its a very complete book and i love it

i use that book a lot too. just those warm up exercises at the beginning of the book are great. they get you playing accented patterns with both your feet, which is not so easy.
