Ah, something different. I thought the first 2 video's were a bit slow & repetitive but the last 3 were a blast! I love Hammond although usually in a rock environment. Good to hear the instrument in a latin & funk context. You clearly had fun on the kit in the last 3 films. Great fun. Thanks for posting.

I love Acid jazz.....unfortunaly its not so hip to play that style theese days.....
But i love to wack my snare in funky/acid/soul tunes...

First clip ive got my Big Black Brass (pork pie) i think its 14 x 6 1/2
original snare beds
The hears its Evans G1 coated

the later clip i putted up is with my DW collector snare

On this one i allso use Evans G1 coated.

Both snaredrum i tend to tune it medium high.
I like a crack and body in the sound.



If you check this clip its how i like the sound in the DW snare.
The head on this clip is a Ambassador.
But this is the sound i like.
