Hey, I've moved my drumkit from a 8m x 4m room to a 3m x 3m room. Since then i've had some troubles with my toms and snare, they are in tune, but they are resonating too much. When i talk you can hear the toms eckoing, when i hit my snare i get this after snare buzz like, skiisshz. Will putting up thick felt blankets across the walls and window help the resonating? Thanks for any advice or tips in tuning or muffling.

Well for the snare it sounds like you need to change the tightness of the snare strainer. Otherwise i mean that's just the way drums are. If you don't like the resonance then stick some 2 ply heads on them and tune really low down. That generally helps it out. Cutting down the live acoustics of the room will probably help out too but it'll just make everything sound "dead". The room is much of the sound of the drums.
