Hey just recorded myself playing NEM to the actual song minus the real drum track. I added mine in. Just recorded with 2 mics.

Not a bad sound for just two microphones. Captured all the drums pretty well. Was it two overheads by chance?

Nice steady playing. Nothing went out of time.

I used an over head and a mic about 3 feet off the ground and 3 feet infront of the drums. Both mics centered. So the drums are in mono.

All of my recording gear is not at home, and i was bored :P

Im going to so a more upbeat song next time.

Nice simple playing. I like that. A touch late on the exit of the first fill but otherwise good timing. Not easy to play to recorded material when you're not the timekeeper. I find it really difficult.
