Kelly Shu

Hi, Anyone using this thing in their bass drum? Is it worth it? There are two models and the composite one is cheaper, just not sure if it's worth the investment. I have the Sure Beta 52 and it's a bulky mic and this Kelly Shu is supposed to do the trick?

Not worth it IMO. Just use string.

The Shu takes-up too much space inside the kick. No doubt there's measurable sonic interference.
