I'd say no. Save your money and keep checking e-bay and get yourself a good quality double pedal. You'll be very thankful you did. You can get a good double pedal for about $100-$150 on e-bay if you look.

Thanks, yeah I was thinking about picking up a used axis at a music store for about $200.

First check if you can get spareparts!!!!!!

I wore out my spring rocker bearings pretty fast and now I have to wait wait wait...but lucky me I have another doublepedal :)

Pretty safe choices are Tama Iron Cobra, DW5000, Pearl Eliminator none better than the other.
