Anyone have the official Tama mounts for the Octobans? How do the drums themselves attack to the "T-bar" show on this link?

I'm not seeing how it works and I think I want one of these for my Superstar toms.

Is there any way to attach a normal 80's tom mount to this thing? I need more hardware but I want to be as efficient as I can on my rack.

Its a clip mount. It may look deceiving to you b/c the the bar is up and down, not sideways like you would have it on a set.

You really wouldn't want one of these for your tom's, positioning is limited. Below is pic of bracket on the Octoban.

The distance or my two toms is gonna be tight anyway and I just want them to be side by side.

But you may be right. I just hate buying more hardware than I absolutely have to. I have too much stuff for my drum room already!
