I think I have somewhat bad tempo; I wanted to know what you guys think. I posted a verse of a song I know how to play on youtube so that it could be looked at. Thanks in advance.

Your tempo is not bad at all. What I would focus on is unison exercises. As the name implied these are exercises that ensure you hit the instruments at the exact same moment. This would give you a lot of mileage in my opinion. It will also help with a ton of other things, but mainly, your unison voice (i.e. hihat and snare, or hihat and bass hit at the same time)

So, how to do this? Try this 33 minute drill:

play the following one measure:

Quarter note, two 8th notes, three 8th note triplets, four 16th notes

for one minute with each of these limb combinations

RH+LH
RF+LF
RH+LF
RH+RF
LH+LF
LH+RF
LH+RH+LF
LH+RH+RF
LF+RF+LH
LF+RF+RH
LH+RH+LF+RF

without stopping. So that's 11 minutes. Feet are of course bass and/or hihat, hands can strike any surface. Pay attention to the sounds being balanced in volume, and hitting at PRECISELY the same time. Do not change the metronome marking during each 11 minute drill.

Then, move directly to the next exercise. You may change the metronome marking here. Experience will tell you where to start, but start slow. Remember, you will benefit from this even at very slow tempos.

Next drill: same thing as first one, but double each note: so, play two quarter notes, four 8th notes, six 8th note triplets, and eight 16th notes. Same combinations as before. One minute each, for 11 minutes total.

Third time around, play a melody you make up. I write my own or take something from Ted Reed, or any reading text. You can really use any rhythmic line, so have fun with it.

After you have done this even 3 or 4 times, record yourself again, and I promise you great improvement!

This was given to me by Dom famularo. Let us know how it works out for you!

I checked it with my application.
Overall, you get about 2-3 bpm slower. Also, I noticed that your fill at the end is ahead of the time and the other fill had also the tendency to rush.
