Getting faster on double bass?

Anybody have any tips or anything on how to get quick fast with double bass? ive been tryin a while but for some reason its really hard for me. any tips would be very appreciated. Thanks guys.

Its never going to happen. devoping speed takes time. use a metronome and play 16th notes at 110bps for starters play 16ths for a minute or two. when you are comfortable at that tempo increase the bp speed. practice rudiments another good book is stick control
you can use those exercies for your feet. but getting speed quickly it does not happen. It could take years!!!!! the same goes for the hands and the brain. Good luck
