some advice: play the mp3 file at a lower speed so you can count along the subdivision more comfortable. try to speak the drumstuff before writing it down.

Love that song btw.
Anyone happen to remember the video for man with an open heart? It's one that has stuck in my head since childhood, but I haven't been able to find it.

It sounds like the beginning is 6/8, then the chorus is a measure of 6/8 and a measure of 8/8 repeating (or it could just be 14/8). then back to 6/8

Yeah, great song.
I hear it as alternating between 6/8 in the "She is susceptible ..." sections with accents on the 2 and 5, and goes into 7/8 in the "One too many schizophrenic tendencies ... " parts with snare accents on 3 and 7 in the first bar and on 4 in the second bar.
Or if you think of that part as a 14, then the snare accents are falling on on 3, 7 and 11. I'll leave any description of Bill's kick drum work in the 7 section to the experts :)
