Hi, I recently cleaned my drum set and all went well. However, after I put my bass pedal onto the bass drum the foot board seems to be hitting the clamp, why is this? I believe I've adjusted nearly everything but I still can't find a solution to this.

Sounds like you may have inadvertantly changed the footboard angle. If it was close to hitting the clamp and you moved it even slightly that may have been enough to cause this.
Another thing you may have done is to change the length of whatever ever is connecting the footboard to the beater bearing (typically chain or nylon webbing). This would also change the distance between the top of the clamp and the bottom of the pedal.
Can you tell us the name\make of the pedal? Really hard to tell without knowing which pedal you have.

When you cleaned the pedal, did you slide the cam off the hex shaft? You may have replaced the cam incorrectly, so now the pedal rests too low and hits the rim clamp when you depress the pedal. Maybe take the shaft out, turn it counterclockwise 30 degrees and replace it on the shaft. Either that or, as Mongrel says, the chain or strap is too long.
