New Al Single out today! (June 16)

Craigslist, the first of four new Weird Al originals, is out now on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, etc. (the other three tracks will be released individually over the summer.) Al's original songs are typically recorded in the styles of some of Al's favorite artists, and known by our fans as 'style parodies'. Craigslist is a Doors homage, and Ray Manzarek played keyboards on the track!

Nice sound on the Luddies.. what Sabian cymbals did you use on the recording? Definitely a vintage sound just like The Doors time!

I used a Sabian Carl Allen Sig 20” Ride that I got recently, it has a really nice, gentle '60s ping. The crash is an 18" '50/'60s Zildjian for the correct sweetness, and I don't believe there are hats on that track.
