Maybe you could tell us a little bit about yourself.

Like, how long you've been playing drums and that sort of thing.

I first played drums when I was 14 at school, my first live performance was when I was 16. I formed The Invisible Wires with guitarist David Burton in 2004 and we are currently recording an EP. I have played with many other local artists and in many styles but I prefer the 'Power Trio English Style of Drumming' as I call it- Moon, Baker, Mitchell, Bonham. I have played in a Brass Band, as a theatre drummer for shows and in collaboration with a collective of artists made up from bands in Liverpool and Chester. I teach the drums and believe the drum roll to be the central skill required. My favourite drummers apart from the aforementioned are Krupa, Rich, Chick Webb, Elvin Jones, Bellson and Morello.
