Hey guys! i'm planing on buying new heads for my PDP X7 snare drum, i'm looking for a warm with a little bit of resonance and not too loud sound...I was thinking on buying Remo Coated Ambassadors for the batter head and a Clear Diplomat for the resonant, you guys know a better set? will this set work fine? Thanks for the answers!

Hey man. So the X7 snare is decent and if you want any kind of good sound out of it I would choose the Remo Coated Controlled Sound. It's has great warm tones and will kill any unwanted overtones. If you want to spend some change though, get a nice snare. PDP has some good prices. Oh and for the bottom of the snare, just keep what you've got. It's probably the standard Ambassador Snare-Side thickness.

Remo controlled sound would work. Maybe some ambassadors, but that might be a bit too bright for what you're looking for. Emperor's might be a little too loud.
From evans, a G plus or a Genera would probably give you the sound you're looking for.
