Hello,
I am trying to help a relative sell a drumset to a friend for a 14 year old drummer. I was asked to figure out a fair price. I don't really have a clue, so I am posting the configuration

here in the hope that someone might know the value of this kind of stuff.

The set is in very good to excellent condition, only used in a family room. Purchased when the set was 2 years old in 2004. Heads and shells are in good shape, and the cymbals are not

cracked nor do they show any keyholing.

Check out ebay and other shops and get an idea of prices. look at kits that are in better condition and worse and work out a fair price. Good luck

thanks for the feedback.
I've checked out ebay and craig's list in my area, but the range of pricing is crazy. I've seen $200-$1000. I don't know what ZBT+ cymbals are really worth. I know they are the cast bronze/lower grade cymbals, but I just don't have a good feel for how to price the package

Tama Swingstar by itself - new price is around $500. That means resale would be around $300. The cymbals you can probably add an extra $100-150 for. The hardware is worth probably around another $150-200. That makes around $600 for the package; which is reasonable. If it doesn't sell, you could lower the price. If you sold off the hardware individually there's a chance you could make more. The P-100 bass pedal alone could probably be sold for $50 or so. I don't know how much the cases are worth, but work on around 60% of the original price.

Yeah, 600 for that package sounds about right. Drums and hardware combined will earn you 300~400 dollars depending on the buyers, I once sold a swingstar set for 300 euros including two cymbal stands, a hi hat stand, a snare stand and a cheap crash cymbal but no bass pedal.
