Look, I really think that is a great drum and all, but could you try writing with correct punctuation? I had to read this message that you wrote about eight times before I understood it.

don't stain it! just clear coat! that baby looks nice the way it is. A few coats of tung oil should give it a nice shine. or lacquer it up and get it high gloss. either way no need for a stain.

Sory about the punctuation... I was excited and in a hurry. I actualy just picked up a Musashi in the same size so its probably going to have to be after winter when i finish it off(hardware and such). Cannot make enough money in upstate NY during the winter to play. When i get a coat of tung or poly on it i will put it back up.

i'm sure it's makes you happy but ,are the bearing edge flat ? if so ... you have a problem no ?
it's look beautiful but i wonder about the bearing edge ... . . .
i believe that you in the process of creating bearing edge and collect the hardware you need for that nice snare drum.
anyways , it looks great .
take care

I can't believe you got it for just $100 - WHERE??

I agree, dont' stain it. It's a really dramatic looking drum. What sorts of hardware and strainers and throw-offs are you looking at?

Lol, in his defense, there is no punctuation in Latin. Or on the internet......

A very nice snare you have. Cant wait to see the finished product.

Wow, thanks. I think I'll get me one of those someday soon. Just 100 to 150 bucks for an extremely exotic shell and I get to have the satisfaction of putting it together myself!

ummm, my dad wants to start doing snares with me. im gonna blow threw a cheap 6 ply maple for like 50-60 bucks. and if i dont f*ck that one up to bad i gonna buy a tiger maple, purple heart or bubinga. should be a dope project. and the snare will go for twice what i spent making it.

Great snare, man, i cant wait to see it finished. im not sure i like the color, but nothing a wrap or a stain cant fix.

Wow this old.. I actually still have the shell.. Un-drilled.. haha .. My life has been Very dramatic over the last year. The snare was from rhythmkingdrums.com .. But I just made a huge investment into an 8 piece Pearl Masterworks.. so that and my project studio will be first priority..
