I'm using attack 1 ply medium heads on my toms but its the camera that make my toms sound good, in real life they sound like crap and one of them just broke after having the head on for only a month.

I heard the Ruby Tuesday cover. It was pretty good, but I think in the beginning when you got into the beat you were in and out of the pocket, lost the tempo a little bit, but you shored it up as you got in. And it could just be my ears playing tricks on me. Otherwise pretty solid. Did you use any mics or just camera?

Yeah that was probably because of the camera. I got it for like 50 bucks on ebay and it isn't to good for recording drums thats probably why it's out of sync in some parts. And I just used the camera no mics.

I dont think you can blame the camera for that, your time was all over the place on ruby tuesday. I think it would do you a lot of good to really sit down and play reaaaaaallllllyyyyy slow with a metronome and get your time worked out. Not bad though.

You did lose the tempo at some points, but you got back into it just fine. You looked rather tense when it happened. Just relax. It's obvious that you can play it, and you know you can...so don't think quite so hard about what you're doing, and just play it.

Practice with a metronome. I'm turning 22 soon, and that will bring me to 17 years playing drums, and I still get a lot of practice time in with a metronome. Any time I practice a new technique or when my brain wants to play something that my hands and feet don't, I use the metronome and slowly work up in tempo. Train that internal clock.

Madison's a great town for music....get out there, take in shows, network with other drummers....ask questions and learn new tricks.

Yeah your right, I just looked at all the videos and my timing is everywhere in a lot of them. But I've never really practiced with a metronome the entire nine months I've been playing drums but I'm going to use one all the time now.
