Just got one of these, the less expensive composite version, from Indoor Storm in Raleigh, NC. Barry let me bring my bass drum in the store to install it. Took about 45 minutes- hardest part was getting the little, ummm... "lock cylinders" over the hooks that hold the rubber cord. I'm glad it's tough to do, otherwise the shu & microphone could be tumbling onto the inside of the BD shell...! Anyway, it was relatively hassle-free, and works like a charm. I even cut the cord lengths with the scissors on my small Swiss Army knife on my keychain. Great idea- wish I thought of it first!
