I snapped two tension rods the other day when i was taking off my bass head. I ordered two new pearl tension rods off of musicans friend and i found out the hard way that they are too wide. And i cant tell wat the product number is for them. Is there a website or something were i can order a couple? Let me Know.
Thanks

Tension rods come in three or four diameters that I know of. 6mm, 8mm, 3/16 in, and 7/32 in. You probably have 6mm. Metric Bass drum rods come in two or three lengths that I know of. Most music stores stock them. I have never had a problem finding them. Bring one of your good rods to the store and you can match it up.

If you prefer to order online, take the drum to a hardware store and find bolts that fit the lugs, then take note of the size that fits. Notice both diameter and screw pitch (usually expressed as number of threads per inch or cm).
