New Head Suggestion

I have a 14x6.5 Ludwig Black Beauty snare. I'm thinking that I want to experiment with some different heads. I've been wanting to try out the Evans ST head with the Evans 500 snare side, and a puresound super 30. My question is should I get the ST or the ST dry, or is there even that much of a difference between the two? Just wanting some info from people who have experience with either/both. Thanks

I had one on my 13x7 pig lite for a while. It sounded okay but I like my 300 hazy/HD Genera dry combination better.
