Hey guys,

I'm playing with a guitar player at the moment and we're covering "Led Boots" by Jeff Beck. I've listened to the track endlessly and I'm still not able to get the right beat down. Right now I'm just playing a much simplified beat to the song, and I'm working on a beat that at least sounds closer to the original, but it still doesn't feel like I'm playing it correctly. I'm just wondering if anyone can direct me to a book, or maybe an internet link, which shows the drum music or tabs for this song. I found a video of someone playing this song on drums, but I'm still not able to determine exactly what's going on when watching it. Thanks for any help!

P.S. I'm not so concerned about the various fills and intro as I am about the core beat he is using for the song.

If you're listening to narada michael walden's version off 'wired' i agree it's quite tricky. if u haven't already checked it out i recommend giving vinnie's version a listen ,which van be found on the 'exhaust note' 4 cd set or 'live at ronnie scott's', both these albums are the ronnie scott gigs. it's somewhat diffferent, vinnie seems to base his groove around more around fills on the snare rather than the kind of hats/kick/snare interplay of nararda'a version. u may find it more 'approachable'.....i'm loathe to call anything vinnie plays 'easier'....
