Ok I had a gig, then a few pints, and it late, so its time to do another teaser.

This is a little ditty I have been teaching a Scots Pipe band Drum corps on snare, Its taken from an old Scots Guard solo. but instead of being based on Sextuplet, I pulled it about a little bit and based it on Quintuplet.

Here we go, you'll have to convert it to real notation. Its writer in 2/4 time. lower case letters mean a flam. and I've tied to put bar lines and accents in.

[lR L R LlR,rL R L RlL][R LlR LlR,rL R L RrL][lR L R LlRrL R L RrL][ R LlR LlRrL----]

[lR L R LlR,rL R L RrL][R LlR LlR,rL R L RrL][lR L R LlR,rL R L RlR][R LlR L R,rL R LlR L]

[RrL R LlR,rL----]

This works great around the kit. Just put the main stroke of the flam on the toms or cymbals etc.
Or if your feeling clever you could play the flam’s as Ghost Flam’s. Or one of my favourites, not a Flam but a drag and put the first stroke of the drag on the bass.

Looks interesting! however, could you scan the page and post that? Would make it a lot more user friendly.
Thanks,

here try this. This took some figuring out how to do this as I'm not that computer literate.

I've also got part B on it. this is the same phrazing but singles and double strokes.

Thanks for the scan! It's a nice piece, and easy to read once I figured it out.
Thanks!
