Teach the bass player

Do you have any recommendations for a good drummer's DVD or book which you would recommend for a bassist (primarily jazz, but, of course, that in itself incorporates everything, funk, latin, brazilian, you name it)? I want to understand better what a drummer is doing, particularly with polyrhythms, and work on my own rhythmic abilities.
