The kit looks great, really clean and classy looking. Nice pic too, remind me a bit of a young sly stallone!

Nice and classy kit!

Can you tell us something more about the snare? I never herd this brand before, and it looks really interesting (not very common to see a metal shell with wood hoops).

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice! Let me know when you get tired of that snare.

I love LCM - just fantastic drums. It's what I'm going to buy when I finally get a 26" kick.

Everything about your set up screams pure class. All high-end expensive gear. I hope you are doing some recording with that beauty ... or at least plan to.

I recently found this thread on a New Classic kit. You should check this out.

Thanks for the nice comments.
It seems like I'm a ever shrinking on my taste for drum sets. You all know what a pain in the arse is to tranport it around. So, 4 pc set it is! Lg loads no more.

The snare is a beauty in looks and killer in sound. It's a mix o fat sound with overtones. I'm using a Evans batter head that has the inner ring right now, it gives just the right amount of ring. I was told by Greg, from Artisan percussion that the snare would sound better w/ die cast hoops, I haven't tried it yet but I have my eyes in some ebay auctions.
The throw is Dunnet with purecussion snare.

Different strokes for different folks. Keep the wood, buy some diecast, have both. Beautiful kit.
