I like the tom set-up. It feels very comfortable to me, I wanna play on it.

are you sure thats a 16x16 floor? looks shallower...
other than that, they are stunning and i love the floor on each side setup.

How much did this set you back? 4k?

But whatever about the price... This thing looks sick!

wow, that's a beauty you got there! It would terrify me to put those huge side ports so close to the lug holes on the snare drum though! I hope it doesn't crack on you, the tiniest one will ruin the drum.

Dang, that thing's a monster. Must take some extra effort to haul it around. Kit looks great. Nice and shiny.

thanks for the compliments!

I would like to think that the snare wouldn't crack due to the big vent holes. If it did, i would be sending a very angry letter of complaint to the SJC guys lol.

For all the people commenting on the size of the kick... yes it is a beast. Sounds amazing, and needs surprisingly little padding (i just use a small pillow kept shallow to the bottom).

The right hand side floor tom is indeed a 16"x16"...its what i asked for, and its what it says on my kit profile on the SJC website. Although i haven't actually measured it lol.

The kit cost me about £6,000. The SJC drums were £3,200, cymbals are about £1,300, and hardware and other bits and pieces are about £1,500.

That's so expensive!
I got a kit quote for the fun of it and it came out as $3,700 without any discounts or anything and no shipping, but I suppose shipping to the UK was a bit more expensive ?
