Latest additions, Leedy, Zildjian & Pearl

OK, here are the latest additions since January. a mid 40's 28X14 Leedy Bass drum. A 21" K custom special dry ride and a 10X5 Pearl Firecracker snare in Bronze glitter.

I know................ MORE drums.

I wanna refinish it to match my blue set, but the wife wants to leave it alone and keep it's historical value. :(

It is awesome. Put on some clip-on spurs and an external muffler if you have to, but please don't alter it. Keep it as it is. It has a history, it would be a shame to undo that history by painting or wrapping it. If you want a 28" to match your set, get a keller :)

You guys are right, you win. I'll leave it as is for a conversation piece for my music room :)

I'll keep my eyes out for a 26" OR 28" kick for my set.

Nice one mate. My friend has a leedy starter kit which is red too but sadly that's where the similarities end. You've just got to love 28" kicks. I reckon someone is gonna come along on here soon with a 30" kick!

I've been wanting to pick up a K custom special dry ride for a long time, maybe after i get married my soon to be wife will let me get one hahaha !!

the leedy kick is great ! something else id like to pick up and pair up with a couple vintage toms and snare !

HMMM, Maybe I'll grab a 30" Kick or maybe a 32" ;)

The firecracker is great, I Love mine for effex, playing on bridges, etc.

And sweet, you'll love the K. And I'm sure if you spoil your wife, she'll spoil you, Maybe. Mine buys me drums :)
