Djembe sizes?

I'm thinking of buying a djembe, but I'm not sure about the sizes...When someone says "30 CMs" or whatever do they mean the diameter of the head or the height of the drum? And which size is the best?

I suppose 30 cm would refer to the diameter of the head. In inches, a "standard" sized djembe would be 12.5-13.5 inches and between 22-24 inches high. (Rope tuned of course!)

It's a 13" diameter head, Lenke (Lengue) wood, and a calfskin head. 4mm ropes.
