Sticky stuff for sticks

I used to drop lots of sticks due to wet sweaty hands. Being a Canadian my first resort was hockey tape. Then blisters from the tape, so I started wearing gloves.

I tried the ahead stick wrap, and even ahead sticks, and I didn't like the feel. I tried Zildjan dipped sticks, and didnt like them.

Was playing Vic Firth Steve Gadds with hockey tape and gloves on em...

I have changed to non taped Vic Firth SD4 Combo and am back to the sweaty hands and loosing sticks!

I talked to a guy that was using Fiddle bow rosin on his sticks, but I am curious what you guys are using.

try rubbing hair gel on your hands. Also try the promark tape.
