Playing Live WIth Tracks

The band I am currently playing with is short a musician or two therefore we would like to start playing with tracks. What device/machine can we use that has individual outs? So we can control the mix of background vocals, keys, etc... seperately. I appreciate the help.

If you can also get your hands on a copy of the recent Modern Drummer magazine (with Daniel Adair on the cover), there is an excellent article in there about playing drums along with backing tracks and what devices and methods to use.
