Mixed and Mastered at Big Blue Meanie Studios in NY. Tell me what you think, it was one of the first songs we wrote together about 18 months ago.

Hey, is that side snare the old DW Pacific that they made years ago? I had one and it sounded amazing. Your drums sound badass too. I like your band's style, really cool guitar work and the drums drove the music very well. Good singing too. I don't usually get into this kind of rock as much but I appreciate it and this was really well done.
ps...mind checking out my band? it's in my sig, there's videos on there too

Thanks for the positive comments guys. I couldn't be happier with how it's turned out. Blew me away the first time I heard it.
To answer a few questions, it was a Pearl Reference kit I used (which was the studio's). My DWs were still on order so it was the best option. We recorded the songs here in Australia last September through to November. Tyson, who plays guitar and helped out a lot with the engineering, went over to New York in December/January to do some internships at a few studios. His last one was at Big Blue Meanie, and as a present to him they offered to mix one of our songs for free. Tim Gilles was the producer Tyson worked with most on the mix while he was there.
Yes, that is a PDP SX 14 x 5.5 maple snare with maple hoops, good eye. Had it tuned up quite high, the rim clicks at the beginning of the song are actually on that snare if I'm not mistaken.

Oh, and yeah that picture does look a hell of a lot like the Underoath. Our friend who did the layout is a huge Underoath fan, me thinks he took some "inspiration".
