New to the forum

Hello! just found this forum. I've been drumming for around 20 years off and on (28 now). More off than on since high school. For years I had been kind of bored with it, I'd only play maybe 15 minutes every couple of weeks, so no time to make any real progress. Recently I started getting serious about it again, and after a few months of regular practice, I am starting to enjoy it again. I think the best thing I have done is start recording/video taping myself. It made me sick at first, but it has really improved my playing. I had to unlearn a lot of bad habits I didn't know I had!

No the set isn't a DW, wish it was, I just have one of dad's spare heads on it.

I know just what you are going through. I have been away from the drums for quite a while, and I am knocking the rust off.
