I just got the Benny Greb DVD, came in the mail today and I'm watching the little dvd menu intro. It's crazy to think how awesome just the intro is, can't wait to watch the rest of the DVD. I ordered it as soon as I found out it was available. Whoo go Benny Greb. Anyone else planning on ordering it?

Just watched more of it, man Benny Greb's an animal!

I think the DVD is awesome for more beginners and people that kind of needs things broken down. It's awesome because he starts the DVD saying that drumming is like a language and learning phrases like "where's the bathroom" will only get you so far, just like learning beats. You have to learn the letters and make words and then start to make phrases yourself so that in any situation you're ready to go. The whole DVD is just like learning the language from the letters to words to synax to talking and the whole time Benny Greb's just being funny and making it a good time. So if you just want to try a new approach to things and really start breaking things down then I think it'd be great.

Absolutely!

I've had my eye on Benny for the last 3 years and I could tell from the first time I heard and saw his playing that he was a future great.

I love his playing style. And his technique is just divine.

His DVD will make it to my collection VERY soon. ;-)

JUST got mine in the mail. I can't wait until I actually have time to sit down and watch it. He seems to have a cool concept and philosophy behind his drumming... will update more after I check it out.
