recommend me some good slow with some interesting drums. my friends really like blues, so im looking for some examples of what i could do that can make it more interesting for me(im usually just doing a swing beat(1&a 2).

Counting like that is triplets. To swing 8th notes you need to skip the &. Play 1 uh2 uh3 uh4 uh1.

Do a youtube search for 'blues'. You'll get lots of stuff. Have a look at Walter Trout and the Radicals, one of my favourites.

lemme re phrase that lol it was late and on a crappy laptop keyboard. can you tell me some good blues groups w/ some awesome drummers. My friends and I like to play blues, but most of the time im doing swing ride pattern like in this vid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipC19zbtYG0

So many to choose from,
I know the blues purists will shoot me for this but....
Go grab some Stevie Ray Vaughn, Chris Layton is a great drummer and he cover all the blues styles very well.
