Some big band drumming and Drum Solo

Hey gang,

I uploaded this video today because I like the tune and I thought I should showcase it. I uploaded parts of the song that stood out best and I took parts of the drum solo and was able to make the video under 6 minutes long. This performance took place in March, 2008 so it's almost been a year since I did this.

I really liked that solo. I'm sure somebody will try to blab authoritatively about how it was so dependent on singles etc, etc. But I'd love to see anybody else control a single stroke roll that long, that musically, and with that much control. Yeah, of course I heard the Buddy on the edge of snare/rim thing. But you made it your own.

I like the tune, it sounds like a Buddy Rich tune in fact! I like your playing in this video - you keep it simple in the beginning and you set up the ensemble figures well. The solo was also very entertaining! Great performance overall!
