another Ludwig snare?

I already have a Ludwig chrome over brass supraphonic, which I am very happy with and will never sell. However, I love the look of the Ludwig hammered bronze snares (but haven't been able to hear one live). It's just such a beautiful drum. My question is: would the hammered bronze sound any different from what I have now?

Given the hammered drum is the same size, the hammering will effect how sound moves through the drum but I would guess not that much.

The hammered bronze drum is warm (woody?) and relatively dry. It's a terrific snare drum.

look up a member named Mendozart. He has a video set that shows the sound difference between a supra, BB, and Bronze. It is pretty representative of the sound. The search function is a wonderful thing.
