I would get one of the pork pies. The last snare looks like hell IMO.

if you have to get, i'd suggest the pork pie.

I tried the 12 x 5 version at the store and it sounds amazing cranked up.

Personally I'd go the 13" x 7" specs. You'll be surprise how versatile it is.

And no, please don't go with the last snare. Looks like it's something that belongs in the kitchen for spaghetti.

I've played the acrylic before and have liked it.

hmmm..... well if were in your shoes, i'd try them out first, and go with the one that sounds the nicest.

dont go by looks alone, cuz even though the acrliycs look sweet, doesnt mean they'll have the done you want, and ect.

Tank,

Not sure if this would interest you, but I've got a nice little 14x4, steel shell, 10 lugs, practically brand new.
$45 + shipping and its yours.
Please let me know if you're interested.

I have the acrylic snare, it sounds quite nice. Very bright. That or snare #2 would be my choice.

No effing kidding! What the hell is that shite?

I also like the looks of the 7x13, although I haven't heard it.
You should definitely try to play them all before you buy.

Not a problem, although I do ask that if you decide to contact me, please do so by e-mail.
I'm having problems with PMs at this site right now.
Thanks.
