Tama 4x14 Brass Snares

Does anyone know anything about the Tama 4x14 Brass snares? They were in circulation in 2005, now discontinued. Flanged hoops, 10-lug snares. Good snares? Or, generic quality (like the Pearl 3x13 metal snares)?
