Well this section just fits perfectly as my question concerns sticks(rutes) and heads.
I'm the drummer for the church youth group and I have been assigned upgrading heads and such as nothing has been replaced in 15 years and I have two questions as I normally purchase heads for a totally different genre.
Due to volume reasons we have always played with rutes. So which drumheads would you guys suggest for rutes? I was thinking about maybe Coated G2's as I've always been an Evans guy but what would guys recommend? Coated/Clear/etc..?
Resonance heads? What is a good Resonance head, I've only had experience with the batter heads, I've heard that Clear G1's make good resonance heads but I'm not certain so what do you recommend/use?
