I don't hear much about this drum on the threads however I came across this 14x6.5 Brass Pearl Sensitone Elite Custom Alloy snare drum at GC this weekend and was amazed at the sound it had. So much so, the drum tech walked over to see what drum I was playing. I actually went there to hear a BB. So we A/B them with similar tunning and the Pearl actually sounded better to all the drummers there. We were stunned by this. It even looked like a BB. The drum also had many upgraded features (which are standard) including pearl/puresound1420 snare wires, stainless tunning screws, a solid strainer and superhoops. This drum was almost half the price of a BB and sounded great. Am I missing something here? Any feedback welcome. Thanks
