Anybody have much experience with the Orange County micro vent snares? I played one today at G.C. I was actually pretty impressed. Very focused and loud. I've been looking for a good 7x14 or preferably 8x14 snare lately. This could possibly do except the hole cheese grater look. I wish I could find an aluminum shell snare that deep.

Trick makes them that deep. Trick also makes a real venting system, one that really works and isn't a fad. The 7x14 or 8x14 destroys the ocdp snare in every possible way. OCDP's bullet-hole/cheese grater approach is decorative, vs tricks radial pressure management which is actually functional. 3 mm aluminum shells.
