Before you buy anything, give Gary Noonan a call.

On your place i would definitive go with Premier Elite Series, you have many options and they are amazing drums, you can not go wrong!
I played Signia from 90 and this is until today the best kit that i maybe played and i played and owned many drums.

Dude, get a REAL, ORIGINAL PARTS drumset. Get a Premier Series. Best drumset out of U.K. hands down. One of the best in the world, hands down.
This whole "custom" thing got silly even by a decade ago. If you like generic parts, then go get it.

Premier xpk and premier elite are very different drums, it is not to compare, Premier Elite are the best of Premier if not one of the best kits you can order today, handmade drums with a lot of options.
Or you can find on the ebay signia maple used for resonable price.

Gary Noonan. Search on Google for him. He makes some of the finest drums I've ever seen and is based in my home town (Gravesend in Kent). An expensive option certainly; but if you're going all out then his shells are some of the finest.

It's actually a Premier Series drumset with the Gen-X shell option.

I probably should have phrased it:
"Of the products Premier makes, I am most interested in the kits made with Gen-X shells."

SQ? Like SQ2? "SQ" to me could also mean "Squadron."

Duh! Of course! Your quote says something about your SQ2 kit.

Me? Noooo... My kit is made from Aluminum. Al-u-min-e-um if you are from across the pond. Made in the USA. I have not posted photos, because I am waiting for a side snare and some new Trick beaters.
