I bought this kit from the high school I was teaching at a few years ago for $200 and I am curious how much it is worth. The Kit is a 1960 ludwig, with a black galaxy sparkle wrap. The drums are in good condition, some scratches where the bass pedal clips on the hoop, and some minor dents and scratches. The drums sizes are 12" mounted tom, 16" floor tom, 14" snare and 20" bass drum. I even have the high hats, and little crash cymbals that came with the kit. I also have the bass drum pedal that came with the kit. I took it to the drum shop, but he didn't know. What he told me was that the 12" tom was mahogany, while the other 3 drums were maple. The 12" toms badge is also a little different than the other 3 badges. There is a blue circle on the badge, where the other 3 badges are just gold. Any ideas how much this kit would be worth?

The kick appears has 4 spurs, very "non-Ludwig" for that size drum, and era. Also, the cymbal arm mount looks "fishy". The rack tom has the real huge Walberg & Auge type mounting plate. I'd say you have a real nice "players" kit, and you got it at a sweet price.

The cymbals may be worth something.
