If you have never tried the new Remo smooth white powerstroke 3 for your kick drum you are missing out. I have always used the Remo coated Ambassadors for my tom's and found that the kick drum sounded not as warm with my traditional clear powerstroke 3. So I ventured fourth and tried the new Remo smooth white Powerstroke 3 and will never use anything else for my bass head. It sounds so good that I may switch the toms over to Remo smooth white ambassadors when they are due to be changed.
