View Full Version : how much is it worth?
I'm thinking of selling my Paiste PST3 10" splash because I'm not really using it much. It's only been on my kit a few months and I've hardly touched it. No scratches, chips, keyholes, dents or any damage. I'm going to sell it with a good quality Stagg holder thing (correct terminolodgy missing)

It's $28 there.

The Stagg cymbal holder (assuming it comes with a clamp) is $27.
$27 + $28 = $55
Assuming that you go buy common practice of selling the used cymbal at about half-price (if not a bit more), the cymbal would sell for about $15.
The Stagg, as long as it's in near-perfect condition (no stripping, scratches, etc), could probably be sold by itself on craigslist for around $20.
In conclusion, I think that $35 is a fair price. Of course, you're losing money because you bought the things brand new, but that's about all you're gonna get for them.
PS: You could have figured this out yourself.
Sorry I forgot to ask, in Sterling? I'm too scared to look at the exchange rate... :P

According to Google,
35 U.S. dollars = 25.0752257 British pounds

35 sounds like a fair price to me.
