Here is the email I sent Michael Vosbein, the Head of Bosphorus in the U.S.

Hello Micheal,
I purchased an 18" Antique Series Jazz Crash/Ride in early December 2008 and I loved it since the first time I played it. This is an amazing cymbal and I'm glad that I chose it. A couple days ago I heard a rattling sound, I examined it and found a small crack in it, a little over an inch long. I don't abuse my cymbals in any way. I am not a hard hitting player and have never broken any piece of drum equipment in my life. I play predominately jazz, latin, and afro-cuban music, so i'm not thrashing and banging my gear around while playing. I have never gigged with this cymbal or taken it anywhere. My question is, would I be able to have my cymbal replaced by the company? This is the exact cymbal I bought, it is still on the site.

P.S. I have included a coupe pictures of the cymbal as an attachment.

Looks like it's a factory defect starting then growing across from the lathing lines. Should have no problem getting a replacement in my view.
