Hi,

I own a Pearl Traveler Kit,
a very nice kit.

I think I don't need to explain much about the fact that the cymbals that come with the kit, is ..well.. not cymbals at all..

I want to buy a normal pair of hihats.
I'v been thinking on :
zildjian A custom mastersound .

what do you say on this pair ?
Is there anything else in this range, sound line ? (Other companies as well.. , Paiste, Sabain.. )

Pearl hihats are actually not that bad. They are normal LOL.
If you want to notice a big difference you will have to move beyond xs20's.
Zildjian A mastersound hihats are a great choice. I own the 13" model and they are terrific all around. You will definitely notice a difference with these.

I am looking to buy the same hats I love the A custom mastersound hats! If you have not heard them live go check some out first, but I like them the best.

A custom mastersounds are an all-around great, versatile hat for many different styles. I prefer hats more suited for metal (obviously what i play). I use sabian aa rock hats and sabian apx hats, they're very heavy and have a distinct "chick" to them that cuts through high volume stuff, not very articulate though for jazzy stuff, unfortunately. So depending on your style, those mastersounds wil probably do just fine.
