What kind of cymbal

I played a cymbal once on a borrowed kit many moons ago which was played upside down which had a very trashy sound with an ultra quick decay, the sound it made could only be described as a chshhh sound lol. It wasnt a china as i have had them before and i think they sound like bin lids. Anybody got any ideas what this cymbal could be?

hmm sounds A LOT like a china to me but if you say it isn't then it must be: a swish of maybe even a novo china (reversed china's? :p)

From your suggestions its probably been a small swish cymbal.
