Found this photo on the Paiste website. What a tease. They're supposed to have more photos next week. Let's post all PAISTE related Winter NAMM 09 photos here!

Yeah Paiste needs to go ahead and release this info. More Twentys are coming but I want to know what sizes and models.

Was hoping the Twenty series would expand more, though what ever happened to the dark energy series? I wouldn't be surprised if they were discontinued soon.

Well, from what has been posted on the Pearl forum. It looks like there isn't anything new from Paiste for this year.
Truth be told, a lot of companies are holding back this time because of the economy. I was surprised to see so many new products from Sabian.

I read that they were featuring 20 new Twenty models, but I haven't seen any pics or other details. Maybe we'll see the Twentys available in a Sound Edge model. How clutch would that be? Staying tuned....

I know what you are talking about — but that was from a while ago.
It was either a about a year ago or the Summer NAMM show when they were doing that.

Yep, that was released for NAMM 08. Paiste does not have any new offerings for NAMM 09. Sad to say. I would love to see them do more with the Dark Energy line. Dont understand why they dont add a few new models to that series.

I wish they'd release a DE China already! I see the prototypes on eBay, but I don't know how much I trust it because I see many listings with the same picture. Oh, well. Maybe Summer NAMM!

Why do they hide these beautiful drum kits behind all that hardware. All those cymbals could still be there with half the stands if it was done right and look much cleaner!!!

For those that went by the Paiste booth at NAMM. Did you see any new models at all?
They don't have anything new on their website. I'm thinking that because of the economy, they may be holding off on releasing new models. Like someone else said, maybe they will wait to see if business picks up and release new stuff at Summer NAMM.
