My Gretsch Renown Maple Set

This is my baby and I have played it for about two years now. I just love the sound of this kit. Specs: 9x12, 16x16, 20x22, Ludwig 6.5x14 Supra and Solid shell steam bent maple snare with old ludwig hardware, hoops, throw, etc. Even put an old Chicago Ludwig badge on it.....guess it's kind of a frankenstein but sounds unreal.

- 18" Bosphorus Gold Crash
- 22" Dream Bliss III Ride w/rivet
- 18" Bosphorus New Orleans Crash
- 15" Zildjian K Custom Fast Crash

This combination works very well......mix'n'match

I really really like your set up. Really versatile. Great choices in cymbals and my personal favorite choices in drums and snare drum. Any recordings? You'll find that there's a number of users on the forum with renowns, and they're awesome drums.
